Provincial​
There are 51 Districts under the RTOERO umbrella, including two in British Columbia, one in the Prairies, the Altantic provinces & Quebec, with a total of over 70,000 members (2013 numbers) in the organization. Contact the Provincial Office for an RTOERO Membership application 1-800-361-9888 or visit www.rtoero.org RTOERO offers many programs and services and also a very highly-rated Group Benefits Insurance Plan, for access to which you must be an RTOERO member. The plan is owned by RTOERO and is administered by Johnson Inc. and underwritten by Manulife Financial. Annual surpluses (since we are nonprofit) are used to improve the plan for members rather than go to shareholders of an insurance company.
Provincial Publications
The Renaissance magazine is published four times a year. Members may choose to sign up with the provincial organization to receive the email Liaison newsletter A fundraising campaign to create a Foundation to support a Chair in Geriatric Medicine at the University of Toronto was begun in 2011 and received charitable status.
